Simon Evans is Group General Counsel and Vice President of ArcelorMittal, the world’s leading steel company. Mr Evans joined the Company in September 2001 as General Counsel and is based in the London corporate office. He has over 25 years experience in corporate and commercial law in both industry and private practice. Formerly, Mr Evans was European Counsel at Rohm and Hass Company (now Dow Chemical) and prior to that he worked at the law firm Taylor Joynson Garrett, London. Mr Evans is a graduate of Oxford University and the College of Law, Guilford. Mr Evans is married with 3 daughters.
