Daniel Sanchez-Garcia

Global Procurement Director, Consultancy and Professional Services, Liberty Global

Daniel is a Global Director in the Procurement function at Liberty Global, the world’s largest international TV and Broadband company with operations in 11 European countries including Virgin Media. His remit covers Consultancy & Professional Services across their US, UK, Dutch and other European operations.

Following a law degree and LPC, Daniel embarked on Contracts Manager and Legal Advisor roles at BAA and Lloyds TSB respectively, before moving to Dubai in a procurement role with Nakheel (the developer behind the Palm Jumeirah). Managing supplier relationships during the financial downturn while trying to maintain service delivery for essential residential services was a huge challenge.

Since returning to the UK, Daniel has worked for Direct Line Group during their divestment from RBS, RBS during their strive for profitability and now Liberty Global during acquisitions and divestments.
