About the 2015 Forum

Practical Law’s 4th Annual Knowledge Management Forum took place on 24 March 2015.

We considered the legal landscape and the shift in how law firms operate have resonated across the entire business, especially in the KM department. Not only is it now imperative to maximise revenue and efficiency, but it is up to KM managers to have an impact on the firm’s behaviours. It’s crucial to create a culture of knowledge and knowledge sharing across sometimes complex business models.

The Forum looked into the non-traditional knowledge and learning that is now expected from you and your teams, and the impact of an increasingly online-based work place.

Key take away’s from the Forum:

  • The psychology behind electronic working
  • What non-traditional knowledge you should be including in your KM
  • Comparing and contrasting intranets and delivery systems
  • The three ways KM candrive profit for the business
  • Adapting your KM when working with remote and virtual teams
