Michael is the Data Protection Officer for UK headquartered glh Hotels and previously advised News Corp on privacy and data protection. Michael is an ambassador for Privacy by Design and recently co-authored the Data Protection Network’s industry guidance on the use of legitimate interests under the GDPR. Michael was also largely responsible for the Industry response to Government changes to the ePrivacy Directive that implemented the so called “cookie law”, pushing for pragmatic implementation of rules that have significantly impacted AdTech.
