About the 2016 Forum

The Company Secretary Forum is the flagship annual event in the company secretary diary. This – our fifth year running – is set to deliver even better speakers, content and networking opportunities.

As an attendee, you will be updated on, and have the opportunity to discuss, complying with the Market Abuse Regulation (MAR), succession planning and board composition as well as the future of AGMs and the use of technology.

New to 2016 – we’ll be running more interactive break out sessions than ever before – giving you the chance to have your questions answered on a number of leading areas such as defining, measuring and managing culture,  examining the role of the company secretary in the boardroom and how to become a strategic advisor to your board as well as crisis and reputation management.

We will also be inviting chairmen, CEOs, NEDs, chairs of relevant committees to present; finding out how they engage with their company secretaries to enable successful and sustainable organisations. You will also hear from industry leaders from key associations as well as recognised investors.

The Forum is dedicated to company secretaries and senior members of the secretariat team and many of the panellists and speakers are company secretaries with first-hand experience of the issues raised.

I look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible.

Yours faithfully

Annemarie Durbin – Chairperson
Executive Leadership Coach & Independent Non Executive Director,
Santander UK and WHSmith
